ABOUT SAYLAH
Versatile Toronto-based Makeup Artist and George Brown College graduate with 4+ years of hands-on experience in beauty, character makeup, film, live performance and large-scale events.
Saylah’s creative background began at Rosedale Heights School of the Arts in Toronto, where they began developing their skills in visual art and performance. Saylah began building professional makeup experience while still in high school, and has continued developing their craft through freelance work, theatre, film, events and creative collaborations.
Saylah’s experience includes beauty and editorial makeup, character makeup, theatre, film/camera makeup, makeup design, face charting, on-set makeup and hair support, wig styling and nail art.
They have also worked with large performer groups and creative teams, including leading a team of 8 Makeup Artists annually for a two-day arts showcase serving more than 110 performers.
Known for being organized, adaptable and calm in fast-paced creative environments, Saylah enjoys both the artistic and practical sides of the industry.
